£286 for a Ploughmans!

Much of the work we do at Bickham House wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of ‘The Friends of Bickham’.
‘The Friends of Bickham’ are a ‘behind the scenes’ committee of volunteers who regularly organise fund raising events for the charity.

This month ‘The Friends of Bickham’ raised £286.00 by holding a Ploughman’s Lunch at The Parish Church of St Peters in Hale. The Revd Keith Addenbrooke opened his doors to passers by and residents all over the Altrincham and Hale area. The event was a great success. We would like to extend a huge thanks to ‘The Friends of Bickham’, those on hand at St Peters Church and everyone who got involved and helped to raise such a wonderful amount of money. We plan to use the funds towards entertainment for the residents so watch this space!

The Friends of Bickham are always looking for new members who are willing and able to give a small amount of their free time on just a few occasions a year. Volunteers are always very welcome, if you are interested in becoming a volunteer please click here
